New Lift and Skiing Slope in Okutone

In the coming 2016-17 Winter season, Lift No.4 and a slope will be newly open in the top of Okutone Snow Park (Gunma Pref.). You can enjoy a 2.2-kilometer long run from the top to the bottom. The advance season pass has been released on Sep. 1 (Thu). You will get the 1-day lift pass if you buy the season pass by Sep. 30 (Fri).

Hakuba International Trail Run

“Hakuba International Trail Run” is a big trail-running race in Hakuba which is located in one of the most beautiful mountain areas in Japan. Even though the limit number of total entrants was increased to 1,800 people this year, the entry for “Long”, “Middle” and “Short” was filled in a day.

In Iwatake, “Trail Flea Market” will be held and applicants can take part in “BBQ Party” after the race.

Hakuba Snowy Valley Closed Until Further Notice

The trail of Hakuba Snowy Valley was closed on September 1 until further notice, because of the serious snow shortage. The trekkers can climb Mt. Hakuba through the following two detour trails: Tsugaike Route from Tsugaike Nature Park and Hakuba Yari Onsen Route from Sarukura.
