The Tsugaike Ropeway (which refers to both the Tsugaike Gondola and Tsugaike Ropeway) will kick off for the summer season on 6/7 (Sat.). Beginning in early June, visitors can enjoy large clusters of blooming mizubasho (Asian skunk cabbage), along with a rich variety of other alpine plants for the duration of the summer throughout the Tsugaike Nature Park, which is located within the Chubu-Sangaku National Park. The area is also renowned for offering some of the most spectacular autumn foliage scenery in the HAKUBA VALLEY. With access restrictions on the Mt. Shirouma Daisekkei route still unresolved, the hiking trail from the Tsugaike Visitor Center to Hakuba Oike (pictured) is expected to attract even more attention.

*In regards to parking, both the No.2 Parking Lot and the Champion Parking Lot (with a combined capacity of 300 vehicles) are free of charge. The Central Parking Lot, which is the closest to the gondola base station and can accommodate 300 vehicles, costs JPY500 per day. (*Please note that overnight parking is allowed in the No. 2 Parking Lot, and that the Kane-no-Naru-Oka No.1 Parking Lot is closed during the summer season.)

＊Fees … Tsugaike Ropeway Roundtrip + Entrance Fee / Adults JPY4,000, Elementary School Students JPY2,200, Preschoolers Free → Advance Discount Tickets: Adults JPY3,500, Children JPY1,950! (No need to exchange at the ticket window! You can proceed straight to the gondola.)
