Renovation work on the terraces (pictured) at Kanki, an accommodation featuring Finnish-made log cottages in Hakuba, are now complete! The cottages are surrounded by lush groves of maple and zelkova trees populated with birds and squirrels. The three standalone cottages—Sora and Kaze (2–5 guests), as well as Yama (6–8 guests)—are equipped with double-pane windows, air conditioning, and hot water panel heaters for year-round comfort. Rates start at JPY30,000 per night per cottage, including tax and utilities (no meals included).
