On 7/27 (Sun.), the Mori no Ongaku-kai, or literally, “forest concert” will be held at Okushiga Kogen Resort’s Mori no Ongaku Hall. Music will be performed by students of the Ozawa International Chamber Music Academy Okushiga, and the program will feature works by composers such as Schubert and Schumann. (Doors open at 3:00 p.m., and the concert starts at 3:30 p.m. All seats are unreserved, JPY5,000). Additional upcoming concerts planned at this same venue include the Jean-Christophe Déjoux Japan Tour Commemorative Concert on 8/2 (Sat.), the “Voice and Piano Liedduo Concert” on 8/9 (Sat.), and the “Mori no Enso-kai” recital on 8/30 (Sat.).
