Seseragi Otani Nojo, a certified agricultural producer in Hakuba Village, is now accepting pre-orders for freshly harvested 2025 rice. To maximize flavor and umami, the farm reduces the amount of rice planted per field, resulting in award-winning rice that received a Special Excellence Award at a national rice contest in 2020 and the Special Grand Prize at the “Best Rice in Japan Contest” in 2023. Varieties include Koshihikari and Milky Queen, available at JPY10,000 for 10 kg or JPY5,400 for 5 kg (shipping fees not included).
