The previously closed section of the Shirouma-dake Line Prefectural Road between the Futamata Gate and the Hakubakan Heliport has reopened as of 6/16 (Mon.) However, since there is no space for parking along this stretch, access is limited to taxis, public buses, and pick-up/drop-offs only. In addition, visitors must walk the remaining 1.2 km to Sarukura from the heliport.

＊Public bus service from Hakuba Station to Sarukura is scheduled to begin on 7/12 (Sat.), though it will only go as far as the Hakubakan heliport for the time being.
＊Private vehicles should be parked at Happo’s No.3 or No.5 parking lots (overnight parking permitted for hikers), then use a taxi or bus from the Happo Information Center.
