On 6/7 (Sun.), Mt. Harinokidake Shintaro Festival will be held to honor the achievements of Shintaro Momose, a pioneer of modern mountaineering in Japan, as well as to celebrate the opening of the North Alps. On the day of the event, visitors can enjoy hiking and trekking at their leisure. In addition, two guided tours will be available for a fee: a “Trekking Tour to the Harinoki Snowfield” and a “Guided Climb of the Harinoki Snowfield.”
