The summer season at Takamine Mountain Park kicks off on 7/19 (Sat.), with the operation of the No. 3 Lift (693m). Visitors can enjoy sweeping panoramic views of Mt. Fuji, the Yatsugatake range, and the Northern Alps from the summit observation deck located near the upper lift station, as well as from the peak of Mt. Takamine (2,106m), a 15-minute walk away. A brand-new dog run area (two zones, each 2,500 square meters) is also set to open on part of the slope.
