Due to the warm weather starting 2/21 (Sat.), ski resorts across Honshu saw a significant drop in snow depth, including Seki Onsen, the top-ranked resort, which lost over 100 cm. In regions west of Chugoku, even the snowiest spots now have less than 80 cm, leading most resorts to end their operations for the season by 3/1 (Sun.).
