Below is a list of the TOP 15 ski resorts nationwide, ranked by their base depth as of 1/6 (Tue.) The number of snowy days between 12/30 (Tue.) through 1/6 (Tue.) increased compared to previous weeks, and ski resorts in eastern Japan in particular made up for their previously low snow depths. Regular contenders Charmant Hiuchi and Arai jumped significantly in the rankings, with Geto Kogen, Hakkaisan, and Seki Onsen also breaking into the list.
