REPORT

Following the season’s first snow cover on Tateyama on 10/27 (Tue.), the Ushiro-Tateyama Range also received its first accumulation of snow yesterday, 10/28 (Wed.). This morning brought beautiful clear autumn skies, and from the Central Slope at Kashimayari Ski Resort Family Park, it was possible to enjoy a striking scene combining fall colors and the freshly snow-covered peaks of Mt. Kashimayari (pictured, right) and Mt. Jiigatake (pictured, left). The freshly cut grass across the Kurosawa Slope was also completely covered in frost.
