The strongest and longest cold wave of the season hit between 1/20 (Tue.) and 1/26 (Mon.), bringing heavy snow to ski resorts nationwide. However, resorts in Hokkaido dropped in the rankings as the snow was too light or the winds were too strong to let it accumulate. Seki Onsen reclaimed the top spot with a massive 210cm increase since the last report, while Togari Onsen jumped to 3rd place after gaining 150cm!
