Thanks to the substantial snowfall that continued into the morning of 11/19 (Wed.), the three areas that make up the expansive Maiko Snow Resort—Maiko, Nagamine, and Okujoji—turned completely white, and even the Uonuma Plain below was blanketed in snow. “The view of the snow from our room was beautiful… though I am a bit worried about the drive home,” said a guest staying at Maiko Kogen Hotel (pictured). On the wide Kinder Course, 10 to 15 cm of heavy, wet snow had accumulated.
