The clouds broke away and the blue sky spread over us at 8:00 a.m. We had a beautiful morning with the sunlight, no winds and cold air. We could see the mountain panorama views of Togakushi Renpo Peaks (Photo), Mt. Hiuchi, Mt. Amakazari in the east and Ushiro Tateyama Renpo Peaks such as Mt. Goryu in the west when I got off Goryu Tele-cabin.

I heard people amazed by the beautiful scape of the frozen trees and fresh snow, “Amazing!”, “Beautiful!” The groomed slope covered with 1cm fresh snow of Panorama Course (Photo) was nicely firm and in good wet snow condition.

The groomed slopes of Grand Prix Course (Photo) and Dynamic Course were also covered with 1cm of dry fresh snow and firmer than that of Panorama course. I could enjoy smooth and sharp carving on this good slope as well. This morning, many people enjoyed this slope with sharp turns by Alps No.3 Pair.

In Toomi Area where the snowing machines were working hard until this morning, the groomed slope was nicely firm. Sunny Way Course was also hard and in wet snow condition. My skis ran well on the groomed corn snow slopes of Powder Snow Course and Soft Cream Course (Photo).
