A Temporary Extra Bus service is available between Hakuba Station and Itoigawa Station on the JR Oito Line to supplement the connection with the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line. This will minimize the waiting time for almost 1.5 hours for the 11 lines of Hokuriku Shinkansen from Atsuga & Kanazawa at Itoigawa Station and Hakuba Station.
