Okuibuki Opens 11/14 (Fri.)!

On 11/14 (Fri.), Gransnow Okuibuki will open thanks to artificial snowmaking! This marks the third earliest ski area opening in Japan among those with operating lifts. Meanwhile, the openings of the Yokoteyama–Shibutoge Ski Resort and Kumanoyu Ski Resort have been postponed beyond the planned 11/15 (Sat.) opening. Yokoteyama is now scheduled to open on 11/22 (Sat.), while Kumanoyu’s opening will be announced “on the afternoon of the day two days prior to opening.”

Okubukiyama(confirmed for 11/14!), Kumanoyu (11/15 mid-November), Sapporo Kokusai(11/21), White Pia Takasu(11/21), Washigatake(11/21), Sapporo Teine(11/22), Geto Kogen(11/22), Tengendai Kogen(11/22), Grandeco(11/22), Kagura(11/22), Kazawa(11/22), Takamine(11/22), Yunomaru(11/22), Sugadaira Kogen(11/22), Shirakaba 2in1(11/22), Yokoteyama (11/8 11/15 11/22)
 
*Excluding ski areas without lifts.
*Kurodake Ski Resort, which held its pre-opening on 11/8 (Sat.) & 11/9 (Sun.), will undergo ropeway maintenance from 11/10 (Mon.) to 11/30 (Sun.), with the grand opening scheduled for 12/1 (Mon.).
*As of 11/13 (Thu.), Tateyama has a snow depth of 90cm and is currently skiable by hiking up.
