I ran into Sato-san from Monster Cliff, who told me, “This app called ‘Slopes’ (photo) is super useful! You can see the real-time location of friends you’ve added, which makes it easy to regroup if you get separated, and you can also record and share your riding data. Snownavi should install it too and add us as friends!”

It was raining again at the base this morning, just like yesterday, but across the mid to upper slopes it was a barely noticeable drizzle, with occasional light raindrops. The groomed Route 5 (pictured) was in moderately firm condition, with solid edge hold and good glide, making for comfortable, enjoyable skiing.

I spoke with Mr. Okiura, Chairman of TEAM RESCUE TRAINING GYM (pictured, left), and was told, “Thanks again for your support this season! Today I’m skiing together with some WAX Base users (pictured, right and center) whom I happened to run into. These are skis released last year that maintain great glide even without wax.” Because WAX Base skis are produced in limited numbers, those interested in purchasing should contact TEAM RESCUE TRAINING GYM directly (Tel. 0261-75-4331).
[Upper Route 8]

Today, grooming was carried out on eight courses: Route 4, Route 5, the upper and lower sections of Route 8, Panorama, Super, Grand Prix, and Soft Cream. On the ungroomed courses where snow coverage has thinned, some areas showed brown patches of dirt. Along Line-E (photo), conditions were similar to Route 5, with moderately firm snow and good glide.
