2025.09.15Hakuba 1-Day Adult Lift Tickets / Sunny

Since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, lift ticket prices across Japan have been creeping higher due to inflation and growing inbound demand. For this report, we’ve compiled information on “2025–26 Winter Adult 1-Day Lift Ticket Prices” for five ski resorts in Hakuba Village. At Hakuba Goryu & Hakuba47, where advance discount lift ticket sales began on 9/1 (Mon.), the regular ticket window price has increased by JPY1,000 since last season—up from JPY8,000 to JPY9,000. Over at Hakuba Sanosaka, where early-bird lift ticket sales also began on 9/1 (Mon.), the price of an adult 1-day ticket has risen by JPY600 from last season, going from JPY4,800 to JPY5,400. This season, a new scenic spot called “Shirayuki-daira” (pictured) will debut just past the top of the 2nd Quad, featuring the brand-new kids’ area “Snow Friends Park.” In addition, the Capella restaurant is set to reopen. The price of an adult 1-day lift ticket at Hakuba Happo-One has increased by JPY1,000 compared to last season, rising from JPY7,700 to JPY8,700 (still set JPY300 lower than Goryu & 47). As with last year, the only early-bird option available will be a 2-day ticket for JPY14,790, which can be used either consecutively or on separate days. Looking ahead, a brand-new gondola starting from the Nakiyama area is scheduled to open in December 2027. (Photo taken 4/5/2025).

At Hakuba Iwatake, where the new gondola opened in December 2024, the price of an adult 1-day ticket has risen from JPY6,500 last season to JPY7,000. For reference, the most expensive adult 1-day ticket in Japan is at Rusutsu, where it is priced at JPY16,200. Incidentally, it’s possible to receive rewards such as the all-mountain HAKUBA VALLEY season pass, as well as season passes and 1-day tickets for Happo, Goryu & 47, and Iwatake through the Japanese “Furusato Nozei” hometown tax program,!

For your reference, here is the trend in adult one-day lift ticket prices at Hakuba ski resorts over five seasons (Winter 2022 to Winter 2026):
– Goryu 47: ¥5,500 → ¥6,000 → ¥7,500 → ¥8,000 → ¥9,000
– Sanosaka: suspended → ¥3,000 → ¥4,300 → ¥4,800 → ¥5,400
– Happo: ¥5,500 → ¥6,500 → ¥7,200 → ¥7,700 → ¥8,700
– Iwatake: ¥4,600 → ¥5,000 (weekends) → ¥5,200 (weekends) → ¥6,500 → ¥7,000
