At the junction for Tangram Ski Circus on Sky View (pictured), I spoke with a family from Kyoto Prefecture who said, “We always read your reports. We’re staying at Madarao Kogen Hotel tonight. The groomed snow is really easy to ski today! By the way, can we ski Tangram with the Area 7-Hour Pass?” If you want to ski both areas including Tangram, you need the Mountain Pass.

Sky View, which had been groomed into a firm wet snow base, had already developed a slightly moist surface by 9:30 a.m. On Giant (pictured) and Utopia (fourth photo), about 10 cm of the fresh snow from yesterday had been mixed in to the groomed surface, creating morning conditions that felt like packed wet snow with a powdery touch. The surface provided good edge grip, allowing the skis to run smoothly and pick up speed.
[Giant]
On the skier’s right of the lower section of Giant, there is a well-maintained Mogul Course (pictured). In addition, large and irregular bumps had formed on the ungroomed section in the middle of Giant. The firm wet-snow moguls softened around 10:00 a.m., making them more forgiving and easier to tackle.

I met two guests from Aichi Prefecture in the No. 7 Parking Lot who told me, “We always read your reports. Reports written by someone who clearly loves skiing are really fun to read. We’re taking lessons this weekend, so today we’re going to ski as much as we can!” By the way, the “2026 LEAD OSAKA Test Ride Event” will be held on 3/7 (Sat.) and 3/8 (Sun.).
