As the El Niño Early Report (Japan Meteorological Agency) announced on 8/9 (Fri), “Now, none of the weather patterns of El Niño and La Niña can be observed. This normal condition may last until this winter (40%), but it is more likely that La Niña weather pattern will happen (60%)”.

*Under the La Niña Weather Pattern, the summer is likely to be hotter than usual and in the winter, the Japan Sea side of Japan will have more snowfalls than usual because of the Westerlies which brings the cold wave to Japan.
