On 5/31 (Sat.), Ontake Ski Resort will host its first-ever edible wild plant foraging event, the “Ontake Sansai Sansakutai.” Participants will gather at the Orion Center House before heading out to forage for seasonal wild plants within the resort area and the nearby Ginga-mura Campground. For lunch, you’ll enjoy tempura prepared with freshly picked sansai, koshiabura rice, and wild-caught iwana (char) river fish from Otaki Village.
