Only 5 days are left until 10/22 (Sun) which is the last summer operation day of Hakuba Goryu Alpine Flower Garden. Today’s report is the last report this summer and our reporter trekked to Mt. Kotoomi Trekking Course where the autumn tints went into the late season. A lot of leaves already changed their colors into brown or fell down, however, Sarasa Dozan still kept its bright red leaves and it made a beautiful contrast with the white peaks of Hakuba Three Peaks with the snow that had fallen these 2 days (Photo).

Now, the peak season of the autumn tints comes to from Alpsdaira Nature Walkway, Hakuba Goryu Alpine Flower Garden to Goryu Tele-cabin. The view from Jizou Cairn (Photo) was amazed me greatly. At Alps Tenbo Lift (Photo), the staff were doing preparation for the winter.

The trekking way to Mt. Goryu was in an late autumn mood with the white trunks of Dakekanba (Photo). By the way, the temperature went up to +12 degrees thanks to the good weather this morning, so I got a little sweaty during trekking. When I took a rest, I wore my jacket to avoid getting my body too cold.

Along Goryu Tele-cabin, the area just around the summit station was in the peak season, so I couldn’t take my eyes off the amazing view. Hakuba Goryu Alpine Flower Garden will be closed on 10/22 (Sun), so Goryu Tele-cabin will finish the summer operation on that day. “Hakuba Paratopia Goryu CUP 2023”, a paraglider competition, will be held on 10/21 (Sat) and 10/22 (Sun).
