Taking advantage of its high-elevation, inland location, Ninja Snow Highland has declared its intention to aim for a November opening. On this chilly morning of 11/19 (Wed.) temperatures dropped to -5°C, and both fixed and mobile snowmaking machines were running, covering the entire Blackbeat Slope with fresh snow. If favorable (cold) conditions continue, the resort is on track to open on 11/29 (Sat.).

The main machines in operation are the latest snowmakers from SMI, the top manufacturer in North America. Checking things out up close, the man-made snow that had built up around the area measured about 15 cm, while the natural snowfall from last night into the morning added roughly 7 cm of light, dry snow.

The 2025–26 winter season at Ninja Snow Highland is scheduled to run on weekends and holidays from 11/29/2025 through 4/12/2026 (subject to snow conditions), including the year-end/New Year’s holiday period (12/25 to 1/7)
