Iwatake REPORT

2025.12.0440 cm / Snowy

After a steady run of cold spells and several light snowfalls in November, yesterday afternoon finally brought a more substantial round of snow. As of 7:40 a.m. on 12/4 (Thu.), a deep layer of fluffy new snow measured 15 to 20 cm at the gondola base station (pictured), with about 25 cm on the lower Sunny Valley and lower Kamoshika areas. At the former gondola base station—set to reopen soon after renovations—construction work was entering its final stage.
