Japan meteorological agency announced that “The rainy season starts on 6/21 (Fri) in Kanto Koshinetsu Area”. In Nagano, this is 14 days later than usual, 13 days later than last year. This is also the second latest record after that of 1967 and 2007 on 6/22 since the observation had started in 1951.
*The usual date of the end of the rainy season is on 7/19 in Kanto Koshinetsu Area.
