Maruhachikan is a convenient and clean room-only (no meals) accommodation located along National Route 148. All six Japanese-style rooms (pictured) are equipped with electric kotatsu heaters in winter, and the dining room—available as a freely-usable space—has a microwave and electric kettle, with food and drinks allowed in both areas. From December to May, the rate is a great bargain at ¥3,000 per person per night for groups of two or more per room, and ¥3,500 per night for single occupancy.
