Son of the Smith is a cidery in Omachi City run by local apple farmers. Their hard cider—an apple-based sparkling alcoholic drink—features a dry taste similar to beer. Since its founding, they have continued producing their signature botanical cider “OG” (pictured, left) each year, along with such as the smoked botanical cider “Fresh Hop Drasmos” (pictured right), which harmonizes apple, strawberry, lavender, and fresh hops.
