Two days after the first snowfall on Mt. Jigatake (10/27 Mon.), today 10/29 (Wed.) brought clear skies, offering a stunning view from the foothills where the snow-capped ridgeline contrasted beautifully with the autumn foliage below. In Omachi City, strong radiative cooling dropped the morning temperature all the way down to 3 °C — the coldest so far this fall — and the chilly northwesterly wind made my fingers numb while photographing from Kannon Bridge.
