After our last report on 11/19 (Wed.), additional snow fell on 11/25 (Tue.) to 11/26 (Wed.), and once more today, 11/29 (Sat.). However, it hasn’t been enough to build up a solid base, so the planned 12/1 (Mon.) opening of the Hakuba Happo-One Ski Resort has been postponed. By yesterday morning the Panorama Course (pictured) had been completely reset, and this morning it was covered with 1 to 2cm of slightly wet new snow.

There was about 5cm of snow on the ground on the lower section of the Usagidaira Slope (pictured), including roughly 2cm of new snow, while the upper portion had around 15cm. The Riesen, Skyline, Central, and Olympic II courses were also lightly dusted in white. By the way, on 12/13 (Sat.) and 12/14 (Sun.), a free demo event — the “BLASTRACK 25–26 NEW MODEL TEST RIDE” — will be held in front of the Usagidaira Terrace (advance registration required).
