The live camera alone doesn’t capture the full picture when it comes to the snow conditions on the upper slopes. The area around the snow machines on the Tsuga-no-mori Slope featured numerous mounds of artificial snow 20 to 40 cm high. As for natural snow, following the 40 cm snowfall on 11/19 (Wed.), another 1 to 3 cm accumulated overnight and into the morning today. The decision on whether the resort will open as planned on 11/28 (Fri.) is scheduled to be announced on the resort’s official website after 5 p.m. today. → Postponed to 12/2 (Tue.) or later
