When it snows in Myoko, it almost always accumulates all the way down to the base. 11/19 (Wed.) was exactly that kind of day, with about 40 cm of new snow on the Hotel B Course and the Hotel Main Slope (pictured), and roughly 25 cm accumulating around the Myoko Kogen Sky Cable base station. As the weather cleared toward midday, temperatures rose sharply, and by around 10 a.m., the snow surface had started to soften and turn moist.
